SurgMate x ESIR | Realism, Precision & Partnership in Thyroid Ablation Training

We’re honored to have once again partnered with ESIR (European School of Interventional Radiology) to support their Thyroid Ablation Hands-on Course in Portugal.
 

Through this collaboration, we continue to push the boundaries of immersive simulation-based education and empower medical professionals with realistic, skill-focused training.
 

Highlights from the course (March 20–21) : Four ablation device companies — Canyon Medical Inc., F Care Systems, STARmed, and Terumo Interventional Systems — delivered live demonstrations using our Thyroid Nodule Biopsy & Ablation Training Platform.

Renowned interventional experts, including Dr. Stefano Spiezia, Dr. Giovanni Mauri, and Dr. Teresa Dionísio, guided participants through real-world procedural workflows.
 

Our simulator provided:

．High-quality ultrasound imaging for accurate probe guidance

．A repeatable, risk-free training environment for diverse clinical scenarios
