SurgMate Named Top 8 Open Tech Startup at 2025 SelectUSA Investment Summit

SurgMate is proud to announce our selection as one of the Top 8 Open Tech startups at the 2025 SelectUSA Investment Summit. Chosen from hundreds of global applicants, we were invited to pitch during the prestigious SelectUSA Tech session, gaining direct exposure to leading investors, government officials, and industry partners from around the world.
 

Held from May 11–14 in National Harbor, Maryland, the summit brought together more than 5,500 attendees from over 100 countries and all 54 U.S. states and territories — offering a dynamic platform for investment, networking, and market entry opportunities.
 

During the Open Tech pitch session, we introduced SurgMate’s core innovation: a modular, hands-on medical simulation platform designed for interventional procedure training. With realistic anatomical feedback, ultrasound-guided navigation, and customizable modules, our solution empowers safer, more effective clinical skill development — making us a standout in the simulation and medtech ecosystem.
 

We delivered a compelling pitch that sparked strong interest from both corporate and government representatives, opening valuable opportunities for U.S. market expansion and strategic partnerships.
 

In addition to the summit, we also participated in the Taiwan Startup Night, co-hosted by TAcc+ (Taiwan Accelerator Plus) and the Washington DC Economic Partnership. This vibrant networking event highlighted Taiwan’s frontier innovations and fostered meaningful cross-border collaboration between startups and key U.S. stakeholders.
