SurgMate’s co-founders, CEO Dr. Tzu-Cheng Hsu and COO Dr. Chun-Min Su, both hold PhDs in Aerospace Engineering from National Cheng Kung University. They have translated the aerospace industry’s uncompromising safety standards and the concept of “flight simulators” for pilot training into the field of medical education.

Our vision is to create a “flight simulator for doctors,” allowing physicians to practice extensively and without pressure before treating real patients. This not only enhances surgical precision and safety but also reduces the need for animal testing.

Specializing in Minimally Invasive Surgery — Innovative Materials and Modular Design 

We focus on training for minimally invasive procedures and ultrasound-guided interventions, particularly in cardiovascular and tumor ablation fields.

Unlike traditional simulators, our products feature:

1. Realistic ultrasound imaging and self-healing synthetic skin capable of withstanding 30–50 punctures without visible damage.

2.Modular components that can be replaced or embedded with pathological models, enabling precise training for sampling, ablation, cauterization, and other complex interventional procedures.

Our platforms are especially valuable for rare cases, such as pediatric cardiac catheterization, where hands-on practice opportunities are limited.

Global Reach — AI and MR Integration for the Future 

Today, SurgMate products are used in over 20 countries, gaining strong traction in European markets where humane values and animal welfare are highly regarded.

In May this year, we represented Taiwan at the SelectUSA Investment Summit and were selected as one of the Top 8 finalists in its startup competition — a testament to our global competitiveness.
