To deliver a smoother and more intuitive experience for RFA users, we’ve introduced a thoughtful design update to the trachea base.
By embedding a metal plate into the base, grounding electrode pads can now be attached directly—eliminating the need for conductive gel and making the procedure setup faster and more convenient.
As one of SurgMate’s flagship products, the THY-B01A platform is widely used worldwide in hands-on training and workshops, including programs organized by CIRSE (ESIR courses) and SYT Medical, among many others.
Thanks to its excellent ultrasound visibility and procedure-realistic tactile feedback, the platform helps trainees shorten the learning curve for both thyroid biopsy and ablation procedures.
Its modular design allows users to practice multiple procedures on the same platform simply by replacing different thyroid pads—offering a cost-effective and sustainable training solution.
Supported procedures include:
• RFA, MWA, laser ablation, cryoablation
• Core needle biopsy (CNB)
• Fine needle aspiration (FNA)
